The mandate of the Aquaculture Branch of the Department of Fisheries and Aquaculture is to provide orderly development of the province’s aquaculture sector. The Aquaculture Branch delivers a comprehensive extension services program that includes the provision of environmental monitoring of sites, fish health services, and the development of human and technological resources.

Aquaculture Branch headquarters are located in Grand-Falls Windsor.
