Fish Processing Policy Review

The Fish Processing Policy Review Commission was announced on July 30, 2003 with the work of the Commissioner, Mr. Eric Dunne, commencing on September 2, 2003. The review was to cover issues such as the issuance of processing licences, regional balance, industry stability, and maximizing the value of our resources, as well as industry changes since 1992. Commissioner Dunne submitted the Final Report of the Fish Processing Policy Review (a.k.a. "Dunne Report") to the Department of Fisheries and Aquaculture on December 15, 2003 and the report was publicly released on February 4, 2004.
